The project included the Fifth School of Positive Changes, which was attended by 41 participants from 24 newly established CSOs from 18 localities in six regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv. A competition of mini-grants for project participants was held.
In addition to 7 basic training events on organizational development, two additional training sessions were conducted. Participants of the School improved their competencies during the training on “Fundamentals of Coaching Skills”. Another 22 CSO representatives from 13 localities of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts gained knowledge and skills at 2 trainings “Effective Social Project: How to Organize Project Development Process in a Team” and “Community Activation: How to Create Conditions for Constructive Dialogue between Representatives of Different Spheres and Sectors”. Consultations on establishment and operation of CSOs, meetings of the Positive Change Club and expert visits were held.
As a result of training at the School, 13 CSOs were able to prepare project applications for Mini-Grants Competition, 9 of which were financed. All organizations have successfully implemented their projects, thus showing in practice the effective application of knowledge and skills gained at the School. The project participants interacted through holding joint events, providing each other with expert and methodological support. The financial and technical base of grantee organizations was strengthened. Following the results of the Mini-Grants Competition, a seminar was held to share experiences: the participants learned good practices, tools and success stories.
